How long have you been in business?
1) Ravenhorde Studios has been in business since 2007.
What kind of work do you do?
2) Graphic design, logo design, custom silkscreening and printing along with all of the products you can find on our website.
Why should I buy from RHS?
3) Our prices are competitive with other companies, our quality is extremely high and our customer support exceeds the expectations of our customers. Not to mention our unique designs that can be found nowhere else!
What kind of machinery do you use to produce your shirts?
4) Our press is a BWM Hopkins 6-color, 4-workstation silkscreening press. We use custom-built exposure and washout units. Our flash dryer, despite the name "BlackBody" is cream colored.
What is your biggest that you have done so far? Smallest?
5) Our smallest order was a custom order of 5 shirts for the USA vs Japan WBC semi-final game in 2009. Our largest order to date is a semi-recurring order of 600 shirts from a local brewery in San Diego.
How do you come up with the ideas for your designs?
6) We find inspiration from all areas of life, ranging from watching TV and movies, to going out and observing the people and imagining how they would act during the zombie apocalypse. We draw our ideas from the punk, geek, gamer tattoo and sometimes even pop cultures. And when all else fails, we put some ideas on the board and let the darts decide.

Policies
What is the policy on returns/refunds? Does it cover shipping?
1) Exchange - We will exchange your item for the same item only. We will change the size of your item as long as it is the same price as the previous item. Ravenhorde Studios does not offer refunds at this time.
How are your products warranted?
2) If your shirt is defective (print errors, holes in the shirt, etc...) Ravenhorde Studios will replace it free of charge for the same item.
How long does it take for my order to be processed?
3) 2-3 business days from order to shipped.
I never received my order confirmation, what's going on?
4) If you have not received your confirmation within one business day, please contact Ravenhorde Studios via our support form (add link)
Materials
What types of fabric or surfaces can you print on?
1) We can silkscreen on almost any fabric from nylon to cotton.
What kind of shirts do you use?
2) We produce our designs on Gildan(link) unisex T-shirts. American Apparel(link) shirts are also available at an increased price. We also offer ladies T-shirts by Gildan, American Apparel and tank tops by Bella(link).
What kind of ink do you use?
3) We use XOLB - Extra Opaque Fast Flash plastisol. We have also used Pantone brand water-based inks.
Custom Orders
How do I submit my custom design for a shirt or banner?
1) You can open an order request via our website and we will contact you with the information needed to send us your custom design/artwork.
What is the payment process for custom orders?
2) We require a 50% deposit on all custom orders to cover materials and security.
On what locations can you print my shirts?
3) Right or left breast, right or left shoulder, high back, mid back, belt line, chest, sleeve. (link to image)
What are the guidelines for my custom design?
4) Size 1000px x 1000px @ 300dpi for a full sized image to avoid an art charge. A minimum line width of 0.1 is required. All designs are subject to approval.
What is the minimum order for custom shirts?
5) 25 is the smallest standard custom order. For smaller runs there is a limited production charge.
What is the turn-around time on custom orders?
6) After the design is finalized and approved, it will be 5-7 business days from the start of production to shipping time.
Do you do rush orders, and if so, what is the price?
7) Yes, we will do rush orders for an extra charge. The rush order charge is a 20% increase on production cost. The materials, setup and shipping charges are unaffected. Shipping charges vary upon service and speed of delivery.
Is there a bulk rate if I order over a certain number of shirts?

Can I supply my own shirts?
9) Yes, you can supply your own shirts. We recommend Gildan and American Apparel brands.
Can you embroider shirts, hats or other garments?
10) While our primary areas of expertise are silkscreening and printing, we are able to accommodate your embroidery needs as well.
